So I was diagnosed with PTC/IIH in March saw a neuro opth immediately and had no Paps. Had the high pressure and the taps, put on Diamox, Lasix, Amiltryptiline. I've been noticing that I have "floaters" in my vision for a few weeks, but I also now have a black spot that doesn't seem to float. It is in my left eye and it is there everyday same position. I've also noticed that when I see a certain things out of my peripheral vision that are "swirly" for example window blinds. I have an appointment with the neuro opth the end of this month, but I'm starting to wonder if I should call him sooner? Any suggestions?

The "swirlys" in your peripheral vision MAY be paps now or they may be due to pressure. I had them too but they left me a while ago. Anytime you have a new eye symptom or a new "spot" that is behaving differently, you should call them.
