Today was my appointment at a very well know eye center around me. The opthamalogist said that the swelling(paps) is still there, not really any hemmorages or to much damage. He was not happy to hear that i am on 3000mg od diamox...he said that is way to much..but he did say that if he were treating me first that he would be doing the same thing my neuro is by getting this MRA and then going to the neurosurgen. Not to bad of a vist i guess, nothing major going on with my vision just the paps. Now i have my MRA on the 6th and then gotta see the neurosurgen on october 11th. Kind of still in shock about all of it but i guess we will just wait and see what he says about shunting me.
p.s. i brought up my neck pain/stiffness to my neurologist and they dont really relate it to IH so not to sure how to get that take care of, it hurts so bad, i feel like i cant hold my head up sometimes. Stupid neuro!!!

Did the eye dr mention anything about optic nerve fenestration? They cuts slits in the Optic nerve to ease the pressure. It won't help if you have h-aches, but should relieve paps. It's less invasive than a shunt. Just wondering...Nancy
