Hi all! I've been more of a lurker her as a lot of my questions are always answered in someone else's thread. I'm nearing 2 years since being diagnosed with IIH. I've had a pretty easy go until recently.
My first question:
For the last 2-3 months, I've been experiencing eye and lip twitching, numbness in my temples and cheeks. What's concerning me more is a sensation in my scalp, that isn't always in the same spot, but it's usually the back half of my head. Like, when I tip my head up and look at the ceiling for a few seconds, then when I put my head back to normal position, the back of my head feels a rush. Almost like if your scalp could get the chills... It's wierd and sometimes it feels like someone's pulling my hair. However, I've also noticed that when it happens, I can't stop thinking about it and the sensation gets worse, so maybe it's anxiety? I read somewhere that the crawling scalp sensation can be related too tightness in neck and shoulders, which I have. Am I alone with these sensations? I'm in 1000mg of acetazalomide and am aware of the tingling mouth and fingers that hi with it.
Question #2: I am dead broke. I cannot afford my meds till this Friday and am already feeling like crap. Will taking n OTC water pull help at all? I know it's not a cure all, but will it provide some relief?
