Is this a last ditched request from the neuro? When, they cant find anything else to blame, a lot go back to the weight issue. Happened to me, and I was not even over weight! I laughed in to his face.
You poor thing, having those low pressure hds from over shunting. They are terrible. The worst thing I found was how sick to your stomach you would feel. Which, understandably makes exercise a big no no for you.
I would think dieting at the moment would not be a good idea. You need all the back up reserve right now..
The free weights sounds like a good idea but remember, muscle weights twice as much as fat. You could be simple converting to muscle which is great news.
I do hope all this mess clears up quickly for you and you can get the real help you need. What a long road we have to travel at times. Cath

I think it is a last ditch effort by my neuro surgeon. He said I might as well try though he didn't think it would really change anything.
I didn't think about my body plateuing (sp?). I have just tried to eat better and not eat anything after dinner. I know when I eat something salty I gain fluid and my weight goes up.
thanks again for all of your help.
I would stay away from GMOs and eat organic, healthy, whole-foods. Try to stay away from dairy if you can...you will be amazed at the results!
