I have never heard of Vimpat. Can you give me a little more information about the med? For instance, was Vimpat's original purpose to treat Migraines or was it made for another problem, but then found it could be used to treat Migraines?
Even without knowing much about the med, I can at least say this much. You know your body best. If you start to feel worse after starting a new medication, instead of better, then perhaps think about calling your Dr.
There are tons of Migraine medicines out there. Maybe Vimpat is not the one for you, but, there are others you could try. I know it is frustrating when you are given a med and you are hopeful that it will bring you relief and it turns out that the med is not a good fit.
I don't know what you mean by 'feeling worse' but I do think it is worth a call to the Dr. You could be having side effects, or if it is making you more nauseous, more sensitive, to light, sound, or increasing the amount of migraines, whatever is happening for you, it doesn't hurt to make a phone call :)

Be sure you dont change your dose or go off without talking to your doctor. Going cold turkey can cause severe seizures or other bad effects. Call your doctor, okay?
