HI EVERYONE !
Hope all is doing OK !
This is my follow up after that Horrible University Dr. Visit and Cramping issue. ~ HAPPY DAY ~ The cramping has almost stopped, still don't know what caused it though... Eye doc says chk potassium ,NS no thats not it ... hhmmmm .... Blood wk to chk Electrolytes anyways , better safe then sorry I guess ....
So Mon. and Tue. I seen both my N OP and the NS and we went over that horrible visit with the University Doc. and both Docs here not only strongly Disagree but got a good laugh !
The NS did say we will due the test that he suggested looking for another reason for my headaches ALTHOUGH we already did these test but to make a point and prove him wrong ! Yet he laughed again.
So that University Doc. who couldnt be more wrong as my Docs say,The one who never even looked at my chart, well needless to say I wont be going back there. !!!! So my Docs here ~ we are going to keep on the path we have been on,taking on things as they come up.
I did go ahead of myself asking both of them what happens when we run out of time when the shunt is wide open,do we look at another poss shunt ? or Poss Optic Nerve Sheath Fenestration , NS ask me to talk to the eye Doc,He also brought back up the VP SHUNT however my vents are to small but he says we may or could get it in....
Well not only do I not want to think about having that Surg. but the thought of going through this and it MIGHT work is just not good enough for me to go through that SURG. Not a chance I'm willing to take !

Angie i agree with you, they should not go for a might. There is always a possibility to get a VP shunt in there if they are good, but you could becat risk for slit ventricle syndrome due to the size of the ventricles.
So happy for you girl! Let's hope for the good news to continue!
