Okay, so it's not the worst ever and I'm sure all of you are having it a million times worse today, but I have a headache and my eyes are so tired. I'm hoping this doesn't kick off another long term bout. I think it's just a normal headache but of course I'm paranoid.

I was going to do laundry and clean up the house, but I will be lucky if I complete the work day. Just venting and being a whinny baby. Since this is a long term thing and probably going to get way worse I better toughen up!

Always listen to what your body is telling you to do. Never push yourself. I don't get headache free days but I do get head pressure free days and that in itself is a good day.

Write your symptoms down in a journal and always let your Docter know. You're Docter listens to you more than. You think.

Today I picked up all of my medical records and was amazed at how well the details are for my symptoms since day one.
The whole time I felt ignored. I feel like a jerk for saying means things about my doctors.

Always give your body time to rest and heal.

Ladybug I am glad to hear that your symptoms were there... I have had mixed reports...some missing big pieces some including lots. So I am glad yours were thorough.

I just read my er medical records and those are wrong. The triage nurse was texting the whole time I was giving him my symptoms so that explains it. I'm still trying to figure out what my er doctor meant by my CSF pressure being 40 mg hg.

Hi Ladybug,

I am new to this group, but have been living with PTC (diagnosed) for the last year.

What the Dr. meant, from what I understand, is the your cerebrospinal fluid was 40millimeters mercury (the Hg is the atomic symbol for mercury). That is how intracranial pressure is measured.

A normal range from ICP is 7 - 15 mmHg for an adult lying down.
An upper limit of normal is from 20 - 25 mmHg
