Hey all so I was put on topamax recently but now am noticing that my headaches that were coming back are starting to get even worse now.....i dont get it. They are starting to get bad. This morning i didnt even roll out of bed yet and i could feel the pain. Im sure my pressure is up? Should I ask for an lp? I know i can get som reliefe from one but i dont know if i should ask for it? Could the topamax be making me worse? Man i am so tired of this disorder i just want to say F*** it to all these pills and just quit but i know that i cant. Please help.
I had an LP a week after I came off of it, and my opening pressure was 13, so I dont know if that is a result of the Topomax still in my system, or if I just happened to have low pressure that day.
I know how you feel being sick and tired of all the medications. I havent found one yet that makes ANY difference in my headaches, so right now Im medicine free. I was prescribed a new medicine, but I am reluctant to start taking it.
Headache3s can be a side effect of topamax.
