This seems to be a common problem ,with wearers experiencing irritation, etc.
It also suggests dry eye, some thing I think is quite common with us, IIHers. Have you tried eye drops?
I think you could benefit from some eye drops, give it a week , if not any better, time for a check up!
I would never let too much time pass as regards our eyes.It could be a sign of high pressure, which if true, and you are having these very obvious symptoms, I would feel happier if you got it checked out. ok? Cath.
I've never worn contacts ever, dry eye yes for sure also alot of irritation. This is something that started the same time all the IH started and before I was DX'ed with IH.They look horrible. & My pressure very well may be up alittle as I feel it is.I will try the drops maybe it will help.
Thanks a bunch .... Angie
The drops from the store will help. I find myself using them 5 or more times a day some days. The eye doctor said he would give me better drops if it's still a problem when I come back to see him.
I buy mine over the counter as well, Hollie, but maybe we should be getting a particular one from our Ophtht?
If, anybody can add to this, please do.
Haven't we enough problems all ready with out this now?! Cath

Trying to lighten the mood and laugh in the face of this dreaded illness.
FYI: I am down to 1.5 (375mg) of Diamox...no headaches, going down VERY slowly....I can get through the day without anything, but take it just to wean off...
I hope you all have an incredible weekend.
I just use visine's artificial tears. I did like the ones the tech at the optho's office put in my eyes better...the Gel ones Mary mentioned.
The optho seemed in a hurry to get done with me and it was the only time I've seen him. I go back the end of November.
