Higher SPF doesn't necessarily provide that much more protection. SPF of 30 protects against 92% of the sun's rays. SPF 40 protects against 97.4%. Higher SPF, not much more. Do be sure to look for the words "broad spectrum" on the label so it protects against both UV A and B.
