I have gone a week with pretty much no headaches other than what I am about to explain and really feeling decent! For the past week and half I've had these weird pains that I guess are headaches. They only come on when I first lay down at night and only if I lie on my side (doesn't matter which side I lay on). It feels like electric shocks starting from the top of my head and radiating through the rest of my head. I also get the pulsating in my ears. However, if I roll onto my back it all stops instantly. Same with if I sit/stand up. To me it doesn't sound like a pressure headache since it goes away when I'm on my back but the pulsing in my ears makes me think it is. Obviously it must go away at some point because I always wake up on my side and have no headache or pulsing.
I know my pressure headaches don't always follow regular patterns, I never have them in the morning mine are always at night or late afternoon so I don't know what to make of this. I want to tell my neurologist about it when I go in a few weeks, but he will just send me off for an LP and I am not really sure I need one.
