Quick question about Diamox increase

Has anyone experienced an increase in head pain with Diamox and topamax increase? I've got one for the books and I'm not sure whether to blame the increase in Diamox, topamax, or just plain old head pain.

Hi Kristena,

I did notice a different type of head pain with an increase in Topamax. It was not the normal IH pain but a different head pain. Lord knows we do not need any more pain on top of the pain that we already have! It is slowly subsiding, I think?! It is hard to tell because there is always some type of pain in my head.

After the last big increase in Diamox to 3000mg/day (1500mg 2x/day) I had an increase in headaches, but I can't tell if it was the Diamox, or just normal ups and downs of my headaches. I have IH and migraines and sometimes everything just runs all together and I don't know what's what. My headaches are somewhat better now. The frequency is the same but the intensity is less.

I feel awful on diamox, but I feel so much worse off of it.

I got more headaches with diamox then i did before diamox part of that was i wasn't drinking enough water so i had dehyraided headaches... that hurt everytime i moved my head... we played around a bit with how much diamox i needed if i took to much headaches if i took to little vision problems

with me i didn't even have the bad headaches they think of with IH before often i can think of 3 times over 2 years and then boom diamox headaches all the time. though now it's been a few years we have the dosing right and now i don't get headaches.
