Have you had any kind of eye surgery? Where is the dot? On the sclera (white part of your eye) or on your eye lid?

Is it possible it is a sty? Styes are usually pink and raised, cause by any sort of irritation to your eye or localized infection and usually go away in a week or so. Styes are only on the eye lid as far as I know.

Go get your eye checked out if it gets anyworse or does not go away in a few days.

A little pink dot on the white part of your eye shouldn't be too alarming just yet. It might be just pressure. If you've thrown up or had a cold lately that could cause it, or if your inner eye pressure is high. Have you noticed any changes in vision? Flashes, blurry or dark sections, or other interference? Those might be time to go see the opthamologist.

I have what sounds like the same thing and my opthamologist said it is caused by dry eyes and he prescribed me some moisture drops. Being on diamox dries everything out! Well at least for me it does. Also never use any drops that are for getting the red out of your eye this is very bad and constricts the blood vessels in your eyes! Hope this helps! Good luck!... :)

My eyes are also very dry from diamox and they get very red, i get red lines that run all across the white part of my eye, I saw my opthamologist friday and he told me to use some artificial tears,being on diamox and lasix can really dry you out, and the fluid on your eyes. :-)
