Not PTC related - Tattoo Idea - Opinions PLS :)

I would REALLY like your opinions on this one, guys and gals... :)

I am going to get a tattoo...I am thinking on my one year anniversary of remission, so in May! (fingers crossed, y'all)

This is the general idea...I do not have a drawing yet, so please try to be imaginative!! I came up with this last night and I really love the idea!

I wanted to get something to symbolize strength. But the Chinese symbols are so common. So I really was not going to do that. But then I got to thinking...what if I added something to symbolize a fighter to the strength symbol?

So picture this:

The Chinese symbol for Strength in black.
Two boxing gloves (yes, I said it!) in front of that.
One of them will be purple for Epilepsy.
The other will be fading from blue to green for Pseudotumor Cerebri/IIH.

What do y'all think?

Or...maybe you could buy yourself a nice piece of jewelry instead. :-)

I like the idea of the gloves. It's like you're taking charge and kicking epilepsy & IIH's butt. I think it sounds cool.

Carol, I do not have any tattoos yet, but this is one I want to get. This is going to be a really special day for me. I cannot wait to celebrate that anniversary! :)

Wow you bold girl, a tatoo. Hmmm, remember this is a life long marking of your body. I realize in your mind and spirit it being a big event to be celebrating. However, I got a tat at 11, I wish it wsn't there as many to include employers have commented on it. I feel stupid being a grown up having marked myself up like I did, I also realize as I age it looks worse, and will continue to do so as the skin streches and sags because of elasticity.
Its your body to do with as you wish, I like your gloves idea, would the money you would contribute to this tatoo be better served for oh let's say, your teeth?
How's that fundraising effort coming along? Did you meet your goal, did you get the procedure done yet?
How will you raise the funds for this tatoo venture?
