Are there any other ladies here who have it? How was yours diagnosed? Did they put you on BC first? Would they put you on BC for a short time even with IIH? Is there any way to avoid Lupron?
I had endometriosis long ago. I was on birth control at the time and had been for about 5 years. The gyno suspected it, did a laparoscopy to diagnose it and fix it at the same time. I don't know if it's ever come back but if so it's a minor case of it.
I don't know anything about Lupron for endometriosis. my sense is it might be a bad idea in IIH. because many of us have empty sella syndrome, or even hormonally the equivalent even if the MRI looks OK. so to further suppress pituitary hormones might not be a great idea.
