Glad that your LP went well.
For Diamox, you want to do two things:
1. Stay hydrated
2. Get potassium
Be sure to drink lots of water. I always tell people to also drink coconut water as it both hydrates and provides the potassium that we need. I also eat a banana with breakfast every day. Be sure that your PCP checks your blood work on a regular basis, as they have to check certain levels and your liver.
You may get tired, I added 250mg this week and I get very tired.
Good luck and post updates!

I was on 3000 mg Diamox for several months. I had a severe loss of taste, and so I ate a lot of really spicy food- otherwise I couldn't taste anything!
Drink tons of water, and either get a potassium supplement from your doctor or just eat lots of bananas (smoothies, lowfat milkshake, etc). Coconut water is also good for that.
I still had a lot of tingling/numbness, it made me want to crawl out of my skin sometimes! Best thing to do is just distract yourself :-)
