It does sound like blood but the fact that its brown color means its old blood and not fresh bleeding which is at least a better sign.
But you can not second guess what it is nor can we.
I think you needed us to give you the courage to go to the drs.
Don't worry honey, you are doing well, and have got as far as 14 weeks.
Go the hospital were you know they will take the very best care of you and your baby. I'm praying my lovely girl. Cath.
This happened to me with my first pregnancy right around around the same number of weeks. Everything turned out fine. I was thourghly freaked out and called the doctor and he told me to come straight to the office.
It turned out to be old blood that had made its way out and was due to a small placenta tear. I was put on rest for a week, no lifting, vacuuming, etc. I don't know how long this has happened for you, but it could be a placenta tear or the placenta is located over the cervix, which happens pretty often. It can move as the baby and your uterus grows, but if it doesn't and stays over the cervix, you we be put on restricted activity.
So call the doctor dear and go in!
Good luck dear

OB/GYNs are VERY patient with first time moms, especially one who has miscarried before! Never hesitate to call... Are you seeing a high risk doc?
14 weeks! That's awesome! Big hug!
