Thanks again!
You are on Diamox or Topamax? Both could give you kidney stones. Passing a kidney stone could make you feel all of those symptoms and more. They say it doesn't make your actual kidney hurt but I swear sometimes mine ache. I get a lot of them. Most of them are very small and no big deal - I get nauseated, bloated stomach, backache, loss of apetite, at the last stage it feels like a bladder infection x 1000 with jagged little stones passing the last fraction of an inch. The bigger ones are pure hell, but that's another topic. Think you might have passed a small kidney stone?
If you aren't retaining water eat some potato chips with your water. The salt will help. Diamox makes my body pee off salt so I crave it and my dr. says to eat plenty of it. But everybody is different.
If you are feeling like your potassium is low and you are in metabolic acidosis go RIGHT AWAY to your doctor or hospital. If you are drinking lots, peeing lots you are at high risk for an imbalance and that's SERIOUS. My main symptoms is exhaustion and muscle weakness, difficulty breathing, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, and zero apetite, It feels like I have the really bad flu, with the exception of the breathing. That's the one symptom that tells me it's different.

So given my labs I was "in the normal range" but barely and given the clinical signs he really should have given me fluids. My kidneys are starting to feel better but I am still so tired.
I will call back tomorrow and see if they have any cancellations but I am not expecting much, I can't even get a referral to ENT or an Allergist anymore. I hate this place so much!
Yes, three weeks is too long to wait. I hope you will get a more proactive ER doc this time. Keep up posted!
Still trying to get in sooner but no luck and can't go back to the ER cause my husband is TDY at the moment and I have little ones.
