We have a lot of frozen foods, crockpot meals, etc..
Low on the fat, but not necessarily the sodium. I buy reduced
sodium whenever there's a choice though.
Hmm...Yeah, I'm fluffy all over. I gained 10 pounds since last summer, but had been holding nicely until now. Grr!
I'm no weight fanatic, but I want to be healthy. I have
heart rate issues that arose in January followed by
BP issues not long after. I'm on meds for that too, but haven't seen
much in the way of side effects from the metotoprolol.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to buy more fresh veggies and no more canned beans. :)

And, like you, I cant figure out how. I have read that IIh can contribute to weight gain, most noticeable around the waist.That precisely where I have put on the weight, no were else.
Which, of course is bad news for heart problems later on in life.
I also have developed high blood pressure but it seems its not true high blood pressure. More brought on by the effects of too much csf within the brain which , then, causes the blood vessels to fight for their space but they lose the battle and , then you have high blood pressure.
I am on a low dose med for it , more as a precaution. What a mess this IIH is! Cath.
