I apologize in advance for whining, complaining, not being very nice, etc here. I am beginning to think I'm just up a creek with no paddle and I've got a hole in the boat.

You all have listened to me as I have whined and been confused and haven't understood what was going on. And words can not explain how much I appreciate that.

My name is Kristena. I have IIH. According to my eye dr it's causing me to lose my vision. My head hurts, all the time. It wakes me up because it hurts so bad. I also weigh too much. Since being diagnosed I have lost up to 40 pounds but admittedly gain and lose about 10 pounds. After the dr appt today, my reflexes are less on my right side. There is a dramatic difference in sensation of touch and temperature. My left eye is showing pigment (whatever this means) in an area it's not supposed to if the drs muttering is anything to go by. My brain droops to the right side a tiny bit and I have a line of sharp pain in spots along the right side of my head. I don't know what's connected and what isn't.

I do know though, the level of pain is not decreasing. I know the floaters and squiggly lines are increasing. My eyes feel like they are going to pop out of my head and my ears are screaming. I am clumsy and forgetful and it's getting worse. When I mention these things to the dr, I am told I'm "complicated" and told I need to be more organized with test results and such.

And just to top it all off, I have had lots of problems with my feet since birth and had been ignoring the warning signs of increased swelling. On Sunday I hurt my foot and am now on crutches. I'm not sure if there is a point where your body just can't keep going at the current rate because of pain - but it seems as if its getting very close. But remember, "all pain medicines cause rebound headaches" (at least according to this dr)....

Am I overreacting when I just think uggggg? Am I missing a key something? Please help me out here because at this point I'm just dumbfounded.
