Oh dear. Not what you want to hear! I dont like going under either. At least they are Bering very cautious with you and taking this whole thing very seriously. I hated getting my wisdom teeth out, but that was a LONG time ago. ;) do they need to do it now? Are they hurting?

Yeah, they do hurt! They impacting other teeth and I cannot wait for them to GO! But I have to go to the hospital and meet the surgeon's boss (another surgeon) on the 21st before it will be done. Such waiting!

I had surgery today and have horrendous pain at the site of my old incision that was opened back up. A visiting neuro told that is usually the case due to scar tissue, ect. I have a new incision on mys side that does not hurt, and they did not have to open my back up again! Yay!
Put they keep giving me drugs for the pain and my blood pressure is very low so they are doing hourly checks on me! Gonna be a long night! Oh, no headaches :)

I am sorry you are in pain, but yeah, going through scar tissue definitely does hurt. I am glad they are helping with that pain!

I know going under anesthesia can be very scarey, and while I don't work with human medicine I do work with animals and they actually share a lot of the same anesthetic drugs. They have some that will alter the seizure threshold so it will lower your chances of having a seizure, reduce/increase heart rates, etc. Obviously it is not without risk but they are right to want to have you in a controlled environment! It sounds like they are fully aware and taking great precautions to protect you!
Try to look at it as an hour of painfree, great sleep! Let us know when you are having it and we can be praying for you!
