Hi Everyone,
I had to cancel my honeymoon to Italy due to my diagnosis of IH in March. We were supposed to go to Italy for a once in a lifetime trip, but with my headaches making it difficult for me to even function we canceled. Over the past few months with the help of meds (diamox which I hate, but love at the same time) and acupuncture I've slowly started to rebuild my life. I'm able to drive again during the day, and still have my daily 3-5pm lag headache time, but I'll take that over the constant headache I had a while back.
Since we are still newly weds and this disease consumed our lives so quickly we decided we needed to have some type of honeymoon. I got up the courage to fly and we are down in Orlando, FL. We went to Epcot and had dinner in Italy!! I felt like a just regained a little piece of me and wanted to share it with everyone.
I can't begin to tell you how much support I have found on this site, and I hope that I can give someone else the hope you have all given me. I know this disease will continue to be an uphill battle, but for now its the little things that I'm concentrating on!

I think , you will find your way thru this mire that is IIH. Just as you have done. It is not always , what we thought the future would be but as you have proved, it can still be really great.

Great news for you! One way to beat this disease is to have some fun and enjoy life, despite it!
