Don't worry, you and Jax are going to be okay. The doctors will know when to do the c-section to avoid any harm to you or Jax, even if that c-section is early on in the process.
My other advice after having three babies, is not to push until you feel the urge. With my first, they made me push when I was fully dilated, but I didn't feel that urge to push. I pushed for two hours. With my other two, I pushed only when I felt the urge and they popped right out. Or maybe it was just easier the second and third time. And I had an epidural with all three.
