Help asap what antibiotics to avoid

I'm about to have surgery and they will give me iv antibiotics when they cut me open. I'm curious which ones I need to tell them I need to avoid! Thanks

if your getting shunt surgery they will know what to avoid however you should avoid an antibiotic called Doxacillin

As Jenna said Doxacycline but make sure you avoid any of it's derivitives too like your tetracyclines. Levaquin (Levofloxacin) is also contradicted in patients with PTC.

o Levonorgestral (Norplant)
o Growth hormone treatments
o Steroid withdrawal
