I went to the ER yesterday per my NS. So I sat there for hours until they finally did X-rays and a CT. The NS team came down and said they feel my vp shunt is working, but that I could be having headaches from my ventricles being so small?? What!?!? I had a shunt placed in April of this year and felt amazing! I had the best 6 months, felt completely like myself before this disease. So two revisions later and now I have a constant headache. They did an lp last night and my op was 16. They lowered it to 10 and I did feel a little better, but headache is back today. They told me that since my ventricles are so small that could be causing the head ache. I'm so frustrated and feel so defeated. I feel like a crazy person. Do they think I want to go to the ER or be in pain??
