Headache in neck

Do any of you get the headaches in your necks? I never really got headaches till recently. I've had a horrible headache in my neck for a week at least in wondering if its iih related or blood pressure related or anything else related... Thanks!

One of the first symptoms I had besides whooshing in my ears on lying down and progressing to all the time were right neck pain, throbbing and right upper scapula pain. It is probably definitely due to your IIH. Go see your doc if it continues and get some medication. An LP might relieve the pressure for now. Usually if my BP goes up I get throbbing headaches and see spots. That is just me. Over time, hopefully your symptoms will be managable once you and your doc come up with a plan. HUGS..

When I was originally diagnosed I just had vision problems. My neuro had the brilliant idea that I was having migraines without the pain and put me on topamax on top of my diamox and that's when I started getting headaches here and there.
I am on a new progesterone starting less than a month ago. When I originally started progesterone I got horrible headaches for a week or so the first month. I've never had bp symptoms even when it was high. I just don't know when to worry or just suck it up. My optic nerve swelling is practically gone in both eyes so why would I be getting headaches? It doesn't make sense
