Again,
Great news
Take care Hun,

Mary - Yes, I am out of the hospital. I'm just slow to respond because I really am not bouncing back the way I wish I was! I was doing so dang well before and I just have headaches every day and I swear I feel terrible everyday now. My head hurts so bad. :( I don't really know what to say about it because it's not necessarily like what I had before because I had constant eye pain before where as now my head constantly hurts and sound...oh my gosh, sound hurts my head so bad...sound never, ever bothered my head before. And as soon as it gets dark out, my head kills me. I just do not know what to do. I feel like such a mess! When I was in the hospital, they had to lower my seizure medicine because my level was double what it should have been, but they increased my Topamax from 200mg a day to 300mg a day because that not only would help with the headaches, but it is an anti-convulsant as well...so it covers too bases. But I just hurt so bad. Obviously I am continuing to fight, but you know it's hard at times!
Anyhow...it's not really effecting my appetite or anything like that, so that's a good thing! That's always another sign that it is my pressure...so I'm so confused, lol! Maybe I still need more time to bounce back...I'm hoping!!!
I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving tomorrow, as best you can. This is the first one in two years I am not going to be stuck lying in bed, so I will. :) I am going to spend it with my family...then meeting with my best friend and going to her house to stay with her until Sunday! She lives out of state so for me, it does not get better than that! Laughter is always a fantastic medicine for me! Until I laugh so hard my head hurts! Then you know you laughed too hard! :)
Happy Thanksgiving, all! :)
I am taking a little bit of medicine with me in case the pain gets too bad. I have not been taking anything except for Advil PM. Not even Advil during the day...just dealing with it. (I mean besides my Tegretol and Topamax) So if it gets too bad, I will have a little bit of help to kick it out of me. Plus, she knows that I tend to not say I am hurting even if I am...so she will not let me push myself, even if I want to. She is good for me. She will also know exactly where all of my medical information is in case anything happens.
Have a great holiday, if you do celebrate it. Enjoy it as best you can.
It's helped so much for me!!!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
