I have finally made an appointment with a doctor recommended by a member of DS. My appointment is 5/16. This dr is in Boston and I certainly hope she can help me. My family doctor says "his bag of tricks is empty" and since we get no support for the local neuro dr and the NS says it is not a shunt problem, it is time for more expert advise. My memory is so bad, at times speech is difficult, I started having seizure like activity. I had a normal EEG in January of this year, now the EEG is considered abnormal but is not showing focal seizures. I really don't know where to turn next.

Good for you finding a new Dr! PTC is so tiresome, getting a new Dr can sometimes feel like just too much effort.
I live on the East Coast and all of my Specialists are at Mass General or Mass Eye and Ear. If you are going to either of those facilities, you will be in good hands. There are a few other excellent facilities in Boston, so I think you can be confident that you will receive the right testing, quality care, and up to date treatment.
Until May, take it easy and rest if you can. I recommend Ice Cream(the universal medicine for all illnesses).
