Can you believe that it has already been four months since I've had my VP Shunt surgery??!!?? I go to the NS next week for a follow-up appt and also to get a routine CT scan of my head to make sure all the "juices" are working properly. I have been feeling pretty darn good (knock on wood), but since surgery, my anxiety has gotten worse and I have the worse insomnia which I take Ambien for now. Other than that, feeling pretty good. Just some days, I get depressed because when I go to style my hair, the bump on my head is a constant reminder that I have a shunt in my head and it will be there forever :( Oh well, I'm just grateful that I'm not blind and that the surgery worked :)

Glad to hear all is well but please don't let the fact that the Vikings are gonna kick the Packers little butts cause you any anxiety as we both know that will never change. LOL
Every time you get depressed when you go to style your hair just think of me and the fact I have very little hair and now 2 scars and one bump and that whould bring a laugh and smile to your face.
It could be worse. (the vikings could lose)
