OK SO ON 10/26/10 I WAS DX WITH PTC AND TWO WEEKS AGO STARTED ON DIAMOX. I TAKE 250MG 2X A DAY. THIS MORNING AT 5AM I WOKE UP WITH THE WORST HEADACHE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I CAN SAY FOR SURE IT WAS WORSE THEN LABOR. I WAS EXTREAMLY NAUSOUS AND MY EYES FELT LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO POP OUT OF MY SKULL. SO I AM NOW VERY WORRIED THAT THE DIAMOX IS NOT GOING TO WORK AND I AM SURE MY LEVELS ARE BACK UP SINCE I HAD MY LP ON 10/26/10. ANY ADVICE? SHOULD I CALL THE DOC YET OR JUST WAIT IT OUT?

On another note, being new, you might not have seem my post about high blood pressure. This is not ordinary high blood pressure but one that comes with IIH, for some.
I had been dying with a really bad hd and nothing was helping so I had to go to my dr it was so bad. She did my blood pressure and it was sky high! 200/144. All this being new to me.
So, I would advise, go see your dr, for all the above reasons and because you can not go on in this pain. I hope it sorts its self out soon. Cath.
