When my pressure is up I can always tell because my ears ring and pop, my vision is blurry, neck hurts and my back is stiff.
However, i swear I'm not making this up but I'm super drowsy when my pressure is up. Does anyone else get this? I've isolated it to the pressure and not any certain foods or time of day. If the pressure is up then I can pass out sitting up--I'm that sleepy.
I asked my nuero and he said he'll beleive almost anything because extra pressure from fluid can cause lots of symptoms.

I think, when our pressure is high, our bodies are under a lot of extra pressure to cope with it. So, I could see how you would feel extra tired. The body is such a wonderful thing! It must be telling you, by way of getting so tired, that it is time for a break and to rest.
I know when my pressure is up by the type of hd I have. The tight pushing my brain down type. But my eyes are always effected as well by these times. I think I am very lucky as I dont have the neck, shoulder pain that most have here. Mine is there but ok.
But like your dr said, I wouldn't put anything past IIh to cause trouble.When I got up today, I could open my right eye for at least a half hour, plus I have a doozy of a hd as well.
Have you tried resting when this happens? laying down but keeping your head at a 45 degre angle. It some times helps. Cath.
