So I'm just leaving the ER had an lumbar puncture on Friday was dealing a horrible headache since then but today it was the worst it has been add some vomiting and dizziness I went to the ER but was denied a blood patch since my pressure was so high still I'm so tired due to all the pain meds I'm so done with this Disease

So what was your closing pressure? Why wouldn't they help you in the ER? Did they call your neuro? I would page your neuro and see what they say, maybe they can meet you at the ER.

Oh wow! So sorry they were of no help to you. I have never been denied a blood patch after an LP. I almost always get a low pressure headache after the lp and end up with a blood patch. I would have refused to leave. I believe there is a policy in place at most hospitals that they cannot release you until you feel that you are able to go home.

Opening and closing was a 20
With a vp shunt was told the reason why the blood patch wasn't done was because they didn't want my pressure to get any higher but what I don't get us what the hit am I suppose to do

I do fault mystic going up the hospital in my town but at the time I was so sick I couldn't make it all the way up to the Cleveland clinic
