Okay, everytime I have an LP my pressure is I indicating I have PTC but my doc told me that my CSF is also staying high as well.

Is anyone else come back with high levels?

your pressure is high (presumably over 20 or 25) (yep) but the doc told you that your CSF (??) is also staying high?

Your Cerebral Spinal Fluid what is also staying high? what else do they measure is staying high if they are not talking about pressure?

Normal values typically range as follows:

Pressure: 70 - 180 mm H20
Appearance: clear, colorless
CSF total protein: 15 - 60 mg/100 mL
Gamma globulin: 3 - 12% of the total protein
CSF glucose: 50 - 80 mg/100 mL (or greater than 2/3 of blood sugar level)
CSF cell count: 0 - 5 white blood cells (all mononuclear), and no red blood cells
Chloride: 110 - 125 mEq/L
Note: mg/mL = milligrams per milliliter; mEq/L = milliequivalents per liter

SoccerGirl, can you get copies of your CSF lab reports quickly; i.e., online or pick them up so you can review exact values? So sorry you've got more to deal with! Sending good thoughts. PC

Table 3 gives a list. Aseptic meningitis can be caused by Lupus, which can also cause IIH.

have they tested you for Lupus antibodies?
