Hi, another small leak formed so my Dr. was asking me if I was drinking caffiene. This has not helped me in the past. but then I thought maybe there is a certain amount you are supposed to drink? Has anyone had success with caffiene and how much did you drink?
Since I've just had three surgeries and still recovering trying other options. Jazzy

Hey Jazzy, are you n the doc talking about drinking it like after an lp? If so Cath gave great advice to drink several sodas, or coffee, tea a day. Alternating it with water.

Mountain Dew, stay flat and immobile for three days. Nothing strenuous for another week. Lavatory only.

Thank you, this is after my last surgery where I layed flat in the hospital for 2 days and didn't do much the first week. I still have a small slow leak and I know that caffiene can help increase your pressure so I think that is why he suggested it. I can't drink coffee and I don't drink sodas so I'm going to try the tea route throughout the day. Thanks again!

Aloha Jazzy,

I'm not a soda drinker either, but I don't mind the taste of Red Bull. It is a really good substitute. Even though it has some carbonation it doesn't taste terrible like soda does.
