The doctor agreed in my case it's only a 50/50 chance I would lose weight and I am not willing to have them cut out something that is suppose to be there when there is a only a 50% chance of it working. Plus there is no guarantee on it helping PTC.
But I do know several NON-PTC people who have had it and swear by it.
If you are able to lose 20% of your body weight on your own, why have surgery? Why not just lose it on your own without exposing your body to the trauma of surgery?
Since then I got sick. I got IH. I'm dropping weight and don't know why. If I just hang in there I'll be near ideal weight within a ;year. What's my doctor going to do if I get to goal weight? He's got to figure out why I'm losing before then.
