Hey y'all I hope that everyone has been doing well. I haven't been on lately because things have seriously been going great the past 4 months. Which is a huge blessing. A couple of weeks back I woke up crying because it was the first time I have woken up without a headache so that was awesome.
I have an incision on my right side of my abdomen about an inch below my rib cage. I had my VP surgery in August 2011, so I really haven't had issues and I think that it should be healed by now. But around my incision is puffy and a little discolored like a bruise. I haven't been hit or anything but its just annoying and hurts went I touch it or lay on my stomach.
If anyone has had this before or have any idea of what this is I'm all ears :)

It would be no harm to have your dr look at it to reassure you all is ok.
Is it a constant pain? Do you have any signs of a fever?Is it red or inflamed?
I am so delighted to hear that your hds are a thing of the past! And I can well understand that you cried one morning , with joy.
Get this other matter dealt with as quick as you can, and get back to living a free of symptoms and happy life! Cath
That's the thing I don't have any redness or heat around it. It is puffy but I don't know. I don't know if its because for the past few weeks I have been working out and I'm think maybe its just my body getting use to that but to me its just weird that I am having that pain around that incision. My big thing is I leave in like 3 hrs for Minneapolis, MN for a conference and will be there through the weekend. So if I can hold off until Monday that would be great haha. I will probably call today and just make sure they don't think its nothing major.
