Hello all. Just wanted to drop a quick note to say hello and let you all know that I am okay and am thinking of you all...even in my absence. I've been busy and then not so busy. I had a brief respite from my disease a few weeks back and was able to use this time to paint my bedroom and master bath, shop for new furniture and alas...get the bedroom of my dreams...well, maybe not dreams...but, at least one that I love. And it's a good thing because I've been in bed A LOT! LOL! I've been sleeping almost constantly. Last weekend, for the first time in months I had to go to the hospital ER but not for IH. But, rather a sharp agonizing pain in my left side. Turns out I have a UTI and a Kidney stone. "This too shall pass..." LOL! I'm supposed to be on an antibiotic but we've been blasted by snow up here in the snow belt and nobody feels like driving up to the pharmacy to get the script filled. : ) When I am online I am typically shopping for Christmas as the day is fast approaching. And guess who gets to host the holiday this year??? Yep! I do!!!! Yeah me! LOL! So, the whole family is coming to stay with us for several days. (But, I guess that beats driving for 8 hours both ways.) So, that's it in a nutshell. I'm still alive and kicking. I'll try to spend more time here. I hope you are all doing well.

About the kidney infection, girl! You have to get the antibs or you will end up in hospital! I know what I am talking about here! They just dont go away.
Do you know if the kidney stone has passed? I have been told the pain is worse than labour!? You poor thing!
I just had another vist with the urologist.He does believe that the Diomax is or was behind all my kidney infections. I had 18 the year before last! . This year only 8. Easily known I am off Diomaox.

I was just watching the Doctor's show today and Dr. Travis actually mentioned kidney infections and how they can cause sepsis if not treated, so please get that antibiotic Rx filled :) Hope it helps and you feel better before all your houseguests show up.

So glad that you had a repreive and at least have a beautiful space in which to spend the down time, not that it makes the down time any better :).

For reasons not know to me, these stupid infections do not care that it is holiday time and often hit at this time of the year.
I, got my back up antibiotics yesterday.
Maybe, it might frighten the bugs away this year! Cath.
