Well I still have been having a fever between 99.5 and 100 degrees but I had blood work and my urnie tested and all was okay, which is great, but I'm freaked out by still having a fever. I don't have any redness or warmth around my shunt incision site so.....but tomorrow I go see the NS to take out the staples, lower the setting of the programmable LP shunt since still having low pressure headaches and will ask him about this fever business. I think he told me after my surgery that he doesn't get worried unless it goes up to 101 degrees, but I can't really remember. Ay Caramba! Jazzy
I just sent you a hug, then read this, O:Y. Well, normally they told me after my ear surgeries and they had opened my head and took bone out for that too, that if they expected low grade temps but if I had a temp of 101, like you said, that is when they worry. All in the same, I would get it checked out, it is better to be safe then sorry. Take care of yourself, you are a precious person. Blessings, Karen
