If your pressure was 17, well that would make perfect sense. A leak would mean lower pressure.
What was your shunt originally set at? What was your pressure?
Push for that test to detect leaks - facial/ear bone CT - with your neuro. According to my primary care doc it's a specialized test just for that purpose - a regular CT or MRI won't do it.
