I know nothing more then I knew before I went in. I went into the ER last Wednesday of a large Medical Facility. My eyes have been burning for days because something in leaking into them and making the the eyelids swell up. I also have leaking out of my ears during the night mostly my right ear. I told them that when I work in my garden being bent over for a bit I will have clear drainage out of my right nostril. Neurology admitted me in the neuro observation unit. Thursday they did an EEG because I have seizures and had one the week before. Friday morning NO comes in tells me that they are going to do a lp and that NS is going to do a CT scan with dye to check for leaks. Well NO does the lp but because my opening pressure was 17, NS put the brakes on and won't do the CT scan to test for a leak. I can move my vp shunt valve around under my scalp with my fingers and the NS team didn't even look at that but said it probably isn't normal. Today they tell me to increase my Topamax from 50 to 75 and to follow up with NS in their office. Where does this make any sense???
