I am also thinking about filing for disability. My ha's are so bad every day now I simply am not able to work anymore. My husband thinks it is our only option now. I am going to talk to my doctor today about it. I will see what they say.
Hugs, I am thinking of you - and yes try to file for unemployment at least. They owe you that!!!

First, I was like you two years ago,but I left my job before I got fired. Not that I cared about them, but I couldnt keep up the double act that was my life.
Oh, the relief! to be sick and not try to battle it anymore. It really made a difference in my daily life and for my family.
I also was advised to apply for disability, which I did never thinking I would ever get but I did! It has made life that bit easier financially, and also frees up my time for all the hospital apt I have.
I really cant imagine how some people work still! I am in awe. Besides the hds and eye problems, what about , concentration, memory, remember your own name?! Much of which is gone forever with me I think sometimes!
Try, now, with some new free time, getting some well deserved rest!
Try not to worry, it always fall together at the end of the day.
Welcome to the retired group! Cath.
I still am feeling better. I guess the sitting in front of a computer and the stress of the paperwork gone is doing me some good.
I have to find a new job but explaining being fired is something I have never had to do.
