Today is the 4th day with a bad headach. I am so tired of it. the first night with it i was having nightmares and dreamed that someone stuck a riffle at a window I was looking out of so I turned around and dove for the ground. I woke up as I was slamming myself out of my bed. Hit my head on the dresser corner and landed on 2 shows. I am so brused up. That is the first time that has ever happened. Not having night mares. Have them evertime I go to bed with a bad headach. I will be gald when all my insurance comes in and I can get back on Diamox. I miss it.

I am sorry to hear that. Surely there must be some sort of program to help you get your Diamox? Does anyone else know about one? Sometimes in drug commercials on TV the company will say to contact them for help if you are having trouble paying for your needed medication, I wonder if there is anything to that. What state are you in?

tried the sate the ppap. No not for diamox or the generic for it. I have been looking since oct 2012. No luck even free clinics don't have it. If anyone finds anything PLEASE let us know. So many need it. I even thought maybe a program for the blind pacificly to prevent blindness but no.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry. That is totally insane that there wouldn't be some way to get Diamox, especially since the generic is available. I just googled the cost and it is a lot more expensive than I would have guessed. I don't know enough about the Affordable Care Act - I wonder if some aspect of it could help you? I wish I had some helpful advice. It's not right that you have to suffer with PTC unmedicated.

You are right about Diamox help. I looked for something for months and found nothing. What I discovered is that what disease you have really does matter. Nonprofits and drug company programs often cover only a specific list of diagnoses for each drug. IIH is definitely not on any of the lists I happened to check.

They say Diamox was origianlly used for glycoma.. I thought maybe that avenue would work. NO.

While you're waiting on Medicare, doesnt your state have medicaid, now you've been approved for ssdi and medicare all you should need is your approval paperwork from ssa, or ssa award letter. I would be glad to help you with this.
