Tell us about your personal experience with Lupron as a treatment: Has it worked? Have you had any issues? Any recommendations or tips?

I was given a 4 month injection of Lupron to shrink my prostate to facilitate Brachytherapy. It shrank more than half but not small enough for BT. Side effects included annoying hot flashes and zero interest in sex. Actually, that 4 month shot lasted for almost 7 months.

Hannabanna, I think you are thinking of the Bipolar Happens book by Julie Fast.

The Bipolar Disorder Survival Guide was written by David J. Miklowitz and I have read both books and they are both great.

Julie's book does have a daily workbook approach that is really unique.

I start the Lupron tratment for raising PSA value, 3 years after prostatectomy. There are 2 1/4 years, and my PSA stays below 0.01.
