Alternative / Supplemental Strategies

Has anyone tried non-medical solutions with any success? Diet, herbs, etc.?
I'm not abandoning doctor's care, just seeking ways to enhance chances of success fighting this thing.
I need to go on the offensive, as things seem to have sped up in the last six months.

Your way to put it is great: to enhance chances of success. Even w/ o replies here, have you found positive suggestions in other places? For many othet cancers there is so much exchange of ideas and sharing of information and resources about alternative approaches. Yet with this one there isn't much information, at least not readily available online. BTW, myself have live with this cancer & I am also in health care. My best lead & strongest inclination from my own research is CBD, the "other" active component of cannabis, the component with an abundance of health benefits, not the psychotropic effects. Do you or anyone reading have good information about this? As you say, not abandoning any medical advice but going on the offensive. Want to talk?

Right fr the get go I felt I needed to investigate more natural avenues for control and treatment. I connected with reflexology & several other alternative treatments. I've continued with this monthly for almost 10 yrs now. It's truly the most amazing thing I've done for myself. I kn ow without a doubt thats it's a major reason why Im able to do as well as I do.
My practioner does reflexology, thai reflexology. hot stone reflexology. She also does a type of treatment called Bowen Therapy. I've also had a type of flower/plant therapy, rain drop therapy. She treats a few lupus people & fr what I know it's been very good for all of us in maintaining wellness and control.
Please know that I'm not preaching here at all. This is what works for me & alternative options are important to me.

Try checking out this book: "The Definitive Guide to Prostate Cancer" by Katz. It talks about holistic and alternative strategies in the fight against this cancer.
