Welcome to the Cabergoline family. Be careful, this medication is very strong.
I recommend breaking your tablets in two and taking those broken halves twice as often.
If I get what your saying - you took one half Monday then take the other thursday so there are enough days between it and the next weeks dose.
TP's right. Watch these meds and try to space them out. (check my timeing on these) If its one half a pill twice a week I would do something like sunday early morning then late wednesday night. Definelty don't want a huge gap or a big tidelwave.
If say what TP mentioned with two pilles breaking them in half maybe go with taking half early Sunday morning, late Monday night, Mid day Wednesday, Early Friday and then Either lare Saturday or Early Sunday. I know that may be a pain but it will float with how you feel on the meds.
Just so you know - If you start feeling strange there can be side effects so don't panic or get worried. Just make sure your in a safe place and chill. Others may have some things to add to this and your doctors may have some things that you should watch out for if you have other conditions.
Not sure if this helps if not ask and we can help.
Been awful busy so hopefully things will slow down a bit and will reply more and provide any support possable.
Hang in there bugsy
Love the humor. Sounds cheesy but laughter is the best medicine. literally lol'd when i read the "cabby-cab" and "prolactinomians"
good luck !
I just had my prolactinoma removed at Harborview in Seattle by Dr. Ferriera on 7/22. It has changed my life! I could not tolerate the meds so was relieved that someone actually listened to me.
Hang in there :)
