Hi everyone! Im Melissa, im 27 years old and Im from Paraguay.
I discover I have a tumor 3 years ago, but here in my country we dont have any specialist so they dont give me any medication. Now I dont have my period since september 2017 (I have a lost that month, I think that was the cause of my inbalance), my tumor grow a little (now its 17mm). Im tired all the time, sad somethimes, my prolactine its 67 (not too high).
I have no one to talk about this, no doctors who undertand me. They just told me that I have to have a surgery and I never coul have babys.
I dont belive that, but I dont know what can I do. I want to have a normal life.
If it is a prolactinoma you most likely wouldn't need surgery- most people see return of their periods with medication.
I think you should save up the money and see a specialist overseas if you can't get one at home, but first pay to get your medical records from before so you're not starting from the beginning. It will be expensive but you could change your life
