Hi, I haven't been around in awhile but I am troubled by headaches this week. I have had my Prolactinoma since 1993 and tumor has stayed small and benign. Never really had headaches much except when sick.
Every morning I wake up with pressure behind my eyes, possibly in middle of forehead too and radiates to back of head. It feels similar to sinus pressure/headache and I have a history of sinus infections but I have no other signs of sinus infection at this time. The headache gets a little better later on in the morning but comes back worse later in the afternoon. Right now I've had 2 Advils and had some coffee and still have pressure/pain behind left eye and left side of head.
My question is, if you had headaches caused my your tumor is this how it felt? Or am I just having sinus pressure/headache?
I've also been having a slight stomach upset off and on and been more tired than usual.
I'm not lactating at all and usually that was a sign that my tumor was growing.
I've been taking Dostinex but not sure if it's working because it's expired. (I've been putting off getting a new prescription because of the cost.) But again, no lactation so medicine must be working? Lactation has always been one of my major symptoms.

When I did have pituitary headache I was pregnant and it felt like a migraine. It was in that spot I talked about then ran down the sides of my head to my ears and covered the whole back of my head.
I agree with you if the medication was not working one of the first signs for me is the lactation.
I would try a allergy tab with a decongestant.
I have some Claritin, so I just need to buy some Sudafed and I'll try that along with Advil.
