I am newly pregnant with my first child and was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in October 2008 (most likely a prolactinoma). Mine also shrunk with meds but is still detectible on an MRI. I went off Bromo when the pregnancy was confirmed and so far everything is going well. I think the likelihood of problems is very small.

well I have good news for you. 36 years ago, my mom had milk discharge and absence of menses for 7 years after she got my elder brother. Doctors at that time had no means to detect her pituitary tumor and tried all kinds of barbaric treatments including the contraceptive pill. When she decided to stop her pill, she got pregnant and I was born, despite her persisting symptoms. I heard my brother was praying every night to have a sibling and I don't know if it is his prayers being heard...Three years later, she did a surgery to remove her tumor and ever since, she fully recovered.
Today, I have a 3 mm pituitary tumor with amenhorrea. I am leaving it untreated since i am not worried of the possibility of getting pregnant if I really wanted to...

I don't know if it helps much, but I had a prolactinoma that went away on its own after I quit taking oral contraceptives. I got pregnant and had a healthy baby girl and the prolactinoma stayed gone...until I started back on oral contraceptives.

i had my son 7 years i was experiencing symtoms of prolactinoma before i got pregnant but was only diagnosed after i had him. i had a great pregnancy no problems even though my prolactin levels went very high so good luck

I have had 3 kids and 6 pregnancies. Don't mean to scare you because I don't know why I had 3 losses (3 early miscarriages) and they were all after the 2nd child and before the 3rd, probably had nothing to do with the tumor. Never had ANY problems with the tumor during any of my pregnancies, always stopped taking my medicine each time after finding out I was pregnant.
We have 3 healthy and smart kids. If you would like to know more and have any specific questions please message me. I've had the tumor since 1993 when I was diagnosed. It was 1cm. After meds shrunk to 5mm. 2 kids were conceived while taking Parlodel and the last baby I was taking Dostinex.
