"Trauma and Recovery" by Judith Herman, MD is a great resource. Emotional trauma is just as weighty against us as is physical trauma. I am of the firm belief that our Neuropathology is changed as a result of it in early childhood and that PTSD is a downstream effect...along with...our Prolactinoma's.
Head injury is also a determining factor as well...in my opinion.
