I want this to be a forum to discuss openly and honestly about the challenges progresive MS poses. This is NOT a place to down play your severity of synptoms or just MS in general. No more advice that isn't appopriate and no more fear. Monsters live in the dark so lets all shed some light.

Did anyone notice the mention of a new drug for secondary progressive??

Which issue is that? I have not seen the new drug. On line, they have the Winter issue.

It was in New England MS mag. Talking about BG-12 but I read agiain and maybe I got confused. Started talking about progressive and ended up talking about RRMs

Well it is the New England Version. Didn't realize that when posted. And discussion starts off about BG-12 and progressive MS but when I re-read it she ends up talking about RRMS. So more research needed. Sorry for confusion.

if only something would show progress. i pray always that no one else would have to endure this "robbery of your life" in slow bits and pieces. i have 3 kids, one a cancer survivor as an infant now 25 and otherwise all 3 perfectly healthy...
but i still worry for them and anyone facing this hell of a downward spiral.hopefully more money more research will step it up!
