I feel like I am falling apart

I have been having so many urges this past month after being sober for about eight months but the stress of school has been weighing on me so much lately and I want to use so badly. I just want to feel better and I want this horrible feeling to go away but I just feel so weak. i am afraid that I am going to go back and get worse. I just feel so broken inside and I feel like I am screaming underwater.

It sounds like you need alot of support. If there is a nar anon nearby, I highly recommend. You can google meetings in your area. If not, then don't hold anything inside, journal about your feelings and vent about what you are going through. You can survive this and come out stronger then you ever thought you would. Believe in yourself!

I understand the stresses of school and there were many times I wanted to take comfort in a drug to make me feel numb to the anxiety I was feeling. I made it through ok and you will too. Just stay positive and understand, you are not going through anything that most other students haven't been through. Try to journal here and that will help you. If you are in a bind and you feel you have no one to talk to, then message me and I'll be happy to help.

Hey I am currently 9 months into my recovery and things are going really well. My only advice for you is to remember where you came from and how far along you've gotten. Don't give up now, recovery is an awesome thing and I promise you that things are only going to get better from here!
